First off, I would like to say that this is my new favorite foundation of all time! I had always used a CC or BB cream because they gave off a very natural finish and didn’t cake up like a lot of foundations I got from the drugstore. My BB cream got pretty old though and I was due for a new foundation. I have been sticking with Joah’s brand for a bit now so I decided to try out their foundations. I was going to try out their “Angel Food” Cushion Foundation, but they were out when I went so I went with the “Truly Yours” Liquid Foundation.
My Skin: Combination skin, Sensitive skin, Acne-prone skin
Positives:
- Very natural finish: not completely matte but not wet looking
- Very buildable
- Still feels like my skin
- Very smooth
- Can go from light-medium-full coverage
- Long-lasting
- Good for sensitive skin/ acne-prone skin
- CHEAP
Negatives:
- Not great for very dry skin (really makes your dry spots stick out)
I really can’t think about any more negative aspects of this foundation. I really love how it looks like my skin but smooths everything out and covers my pimples and red spots. I think I will still try the “Angel Food” Cushion Foundation later on but I am so glad I decided to get this foundation.
